Taking zinc may help keep your strength and mobility as you age.

Here’s why:

Zinc declines with age.

The WHO estimates a third of the world’s population is low.

But mild deficiency gives no obvious symptoms.

84-90% of the zinc in your body is in the muscles and the bones, so these would be the organs most affect by low levels.

This may explain why some evidence points to zinc deficiency being a risk factor for age related muscle loss.
